Olive ash sideboard

The panels of this small sideboard are made using olive ash and the frame is ash.

So called because it looks like olive wood, olive ash is actually the brown heart which develops in some ash trees when they mature. Side by side as here, they make an attractive contrast in colour and patern.

The handshaped wenge handles are pleasantly tactile and lend further contrast to the ash.

Materials: English ash, olive ash, wenge.
