Black and white chest of drawers
Imagine taking two chests of drawers, one white and one black. They are cut in half and one side of each is used to form a new set of drawers. That is the inspiration for this piece of furniture.
Each half of the chest is made from different thickness material. The result is that the drawer fronts have an interesting step at the joint.
The drawers are mounted on self closing runners, and to help keep the piece uncluttered, the handle detail is cut into the drawer sides.
Materials: Black and white lacquered MDF.
